Forget Twilight – There’s an Ongoing Saga In Bolton

It’s getting hotter in Bolton, and I’m not talking about the weather. Wigan has already had 2 bids rejected for in-form keeper Ali Al-Habsi, and it doesn’t look like they’re going to give up very easily.

It’s still unclear whether Bolton are looking to retain the Omani International’s services after his display over the last season or so. This has also left the fans wondering who will be looking to command the box next season. With Bolton not giving anything away – anything at this moment in time is possible.

This is going to be one saga that will be keeping both Bolton and Wigan fans heavily entertained. Will Ali be going to Wigan? Will he remain at Bolton and finally get his chance between the sticks? Will he move somewhere else? Will he go for £5m? Will Bolton offer Ali a new contract?

There are lots and lots of questions plenty of fans would like to ask – let’s hope there is a resolution on the situation very soon, a good resolution for Bolton fans.

  • Absolute disgrace if we let Al-Habsi leave for Wigan. You only need to look at jussis age and last seasons poor poor performances from him to realise his best days are behind him ! Habsi our no.1 with Bogdan no.2. Thanking jussi for being a fantastic servant but it’s time to move on.

  • I feel disappointed that Bolton never gave a real chance for Ali Al Habsi last season and lent him to Wigan, now they are bargening on him, obviously Bolton will regret and they will end up paying 4 times to get someone like him beacause they simply do not have a good keeper
