The game between Bolton and Hull ended up with both sides sharing the points. It seemed likely that Hull may take all 3 points with the amount of pressing they were putting on the whites in the 2nd half, however Jussi pulled off another magical performance (including a double save) preventing Hull from going ahead on many occasions.
With Newcastle losing to Fulham and Aston Villa pulling a goal back at the Riverside to earn them a draw against Boro, the relegation scrap for once doesn't include Bolton amongst the teams fighting for survival. Being a lifelong Bolton fan, I never want to see our team lose a game, but this one game I wanted to see Hull take all 3 points.
From all the teams involved in the scrap at the bottom of the table, just ask yourselves the question on who actually deserves to stay up. I can find many reasons for all the teams par one - Hull. They have been a fantastic side which started their first Premiership campaign in a great fashion where Geovanni scored their first Premiership goal from almost 30 yards out - and from all the teams who fear the drop Hull are the ones who deserve to stay up.
Hull's final game of the season is with this season's Premiership champions, Manchester United - and with all the other teams having an easier game, it certainly seems that Phil Brown will need to pull out the ace from up his sleeve in order to pick out a result to see him manage another season in the Premier League. Here's hoping Fergie gives Hull a chance - just like they did West Ham a over a season ago.
To all you you who are reading this, I'd like to hear your thoughts on which team deserves to survive the drop, and even if you agree with me - I'd still like to hear why you feel the same way.
