Edinburgh Marathon In Memory Of Ellie May

In case you are not aware I have agreed to enter this years Edinburgh Marathon on 31st May.

I have decided that I would like to take this opportunity to raise funds in memory of a special little girl who sadly lost her battle against meningitis at the age of only 9 weeks. A tribute fund has been set up in her memory to raise funds for the Meningitis Trust to help continue there amazing work in to this awful virus.

I would (along with the family of Ellie Mai) be so grateful if you would visit her Tribute Fund at the following link and select the make a donation option and make a donation (no matter how small) leaving a message of support for the marathon as well as your name for the families record.

Tonight Ladies & Gentleman - David Lee

Former Bolton player - David Lee will be joining the Supporters' Association for a questions and answers session tonight.

We're sure David does not need an introduction, but for the younger fans David was an enigmatic winger who first began his career with Bury FC. After spending 5 years with the Gigg Lane outift, David moved onto Southampton where he only managed to make 20 league appearances before Bolton came in for Davids services and agreed a 1 month loan deal. During this period, Bolton made David a member of the squad by making his loan deal a permanent one.

After 5 exciting seasons (whilst fans shouted 'Skin Him' from the stands each time he got the ball!) David was considered to be a legend in the Rioch camp. He played alongside John McGinlay, Jason McAteer, Alan Thompson and many other household names from the Rioch era.

The Supporters' Evening Social Evening will start at approx 7:45pm and normally is a members-only evening - however, non-members are welcome to attend for a small fee of £1 with accompanied juniors getting free entry (Under 16's).
