There are two types of affiliation available:

1) The Chairman and/or other officers of the supporters group (a minimum of one adult member) must apply for full adult membership by joining either online or requesting a membership form from one of our committee members, and making a payment each season for the total value of a Full UK Adult Green Membership (for online access only) / Full UK Adult Paper Membership (you will receive a monthly paper-based newsletter) or a Full International Membership (whichever applies). In return you will receive a membership card, online access to the Members' Magazine (which is accessible via a members only section) or a monthly paper-based newsletter which you can photocopy and pass to your members; have the opportunity to win a monthly cash draw prize (during the season), have a vote in the BWSA's choice of Player of the Year and receive free admittance to any of our monthly meetings at the Reebok and discounted prices for our social events including our Player of the Year Evening. 2) As above, but with individual members of your group also taking up a membership, but for a cost of only £6 each. They will receive all the above benefits except for the monthly paper-based Magazine. However, you should keep in mind that the Magazine is the best way of keeping in touch with developments. Your supporters' club would retain its independence and continue to be in complete control of running itself. BWSA has no intention of interfering with the running of its affiliated branches.

If your committee and members decide to become an independent, affiliated group of BWSA, your branch will receive a certificate of Affiliation and its name and contact numbers will be published in the BWSA Magazine, on the regular supporters' page in the Matchday Programme and on the BWSA website (which is linked to the BWFC website). However, the most important benefit of becoming affiliated to BWSA, is that your group will then become officially recognised by Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
